Agreed Doug however that 9vdc is what the battery monitor reports. That doesnt mean the battery is actually at 9vdc at the time. Thats the reason I believe the battery monitor is wacky on this rig. In order to be sure I would have take an actual measurement of the battery voltage which I may do yet when I get some of my other projects out of the way. I will then report back about my findings just in case anyone else has a simular issue.

A car battery at 9 volts is seriously low, wouldn't be able to start a car, and probably not even light the lights.
