Just to show I'm not TOTALLY obsessed with Flying Saucers. LOL
I like the writings of Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child, and probably Child's solo efforts even more so. Unlike many of their diehard fans though I don't rate them as Great Writing, but file them more under FUN Pulp type SF/Horror. Especially Child's solo runs. = Interesting, STRANGE, and FUN. Their team effort of THE ICE LIMIT and its sequel BEYOND THE ICE LIMIT certainly fall into those categories. = If you want to escape the summer heat for awhile take an adventurous ride with them down toward the South Pole and into some SF/Horror weirdness --- FROM SPACE! LOL
