It turns out that there was a COP (probably missed the "Briefing") who actually climbed the ladder up to the roof that Shooter was on. When the Shooter pointed his rifle at him, he scrambled the heck back down!!! = Yeah! In my life, I have driven A LOT of different types of vehicles. I've always wondered just what it would be like to DRIVE one of those Half Tracks??? I bet it would be a STRAIGHTUP BLAST in The Rough!!!?
BTW -- Years back, while I was still driving truck, at a fuel stop I ran across another trucker hauling a couple of REALLY TRASHED M-3s!!! I got pretty darn excited, and the driver let me look them over! He said that they were off to someplace "Out West"(???) to be used for parts on restores. . . . I've often wondered whatever became of them??? = Probably never will find out. But MAYBE we'll see them someday in a WWII HollyWeird movie!!! <sigh>?

We have only had one Heavy Storm blow through here so far. (In which I got caught out in the very middle of!!!) A few little Splash&Dash afternoon/ evening Rumblers that amounted to nothing much. (Other than scaring the hounds! I swear. They just keep getting WORSE ever since that bad hailstorm we had a couple of years ago!) Right now, we are going through our second week of annual 90 -100 Plus Heat. (And not a darn beach in sight! Dang it!!! DAMN! I sure do miss the ocean!!!) Reckon that we'll be looking at a couple of more weeks before this starts to settle back down.
I HOPE we can get a few good soakers out of it. Otherwise, we'll be having one heck of a BAD fire season!!! (Must be that Global Warming KRAP again!? LOL) Guess we'll just have to wait and see if any of Gore's "RAIN BOMBS" show up!!! Would be nice! But this heat hasn't been kicking up anything much in the way of afternoon thunderstorms like it SHOULD BE. . . . Maybe we need to pay the Feds MORE tax dollars so that they'll appease the Weather Gods for us???? LOL?
