New with a project 12W & 9
Hi, I'm new here and have a 12W & 9 I was given along with a number of other machines and loose parts. Right now, I'm very interested in getting the 12W up and running.? Any help with locating bobbins, needles, feet, and probably pictures of the insides of yours, would be much appreciated. I'm in MN, USA. Many thanks.

Welcome,
Sounds like you have a couple of fun projects. Locating bobbins and feet is going to take some persistence. I don't have a 12, though I would like to have one. I was lucky and my two 9s came with bobbin cases, bobbins & feet. My W&W 8 did not have a bobbin case when I got it, and I spent about 10 months looking before getting one. Check the photos section here for pictures. There are manuals for the 12 & 9 in the files section, and possibly other information that would be useful in your restoration. Ask questions here, and use the search function. Miller Fulks was probably one of the the most knowledgeable people on Wheeler & Wilson machines, he passed a year or so ago, but he left a huge trove of information for us in the archives, and in the Files and Photos sections of the group. For needles, Jon Helig is your best bet. ?You can find him on Ebay at jacksnbs or on Facebook at Jack's Needles, Shuttles, & Bobbins. Tammy |
Thanks Tammy. I¡¯ll take a look. And, yes. Patience.?
