Jon Helig?

I recently bought a 9W7, and just broke the only needle I had.
?
I've seen several places online that Jon Helig is the person to buy 9W7 needles from, but all of the store links seem to be broken. Is he no longer doing business?
?
Thank you!
Sarah

So sorry to hear this, my condolences to his family and friends.

I use Schmetz & Groz-Beckert MY 1014B or MY 1014A for my 9W. You can get them in a variety of places. I got mine from The Thread Exchange.?

Sarah - sadly, Jon passed away some time ago.

If I recall correctly, a currently available alternative needle which works in the 9W is the MY 1014.

I am so sad to hear of Jon Helig's passing. He was very helpful to me... and I'm sure many others.?
Does anyone know if someone else is likely to pick up the service Jon was providing?

I¡¯ve used the same source and same needles with good success.
I¡¯ve also gotten bulk quantities from diamond needle supply and also directly from Schmetz¡¯s website.?

Although, the needles ordered from Schmetz were out of stock in the US, so I had to wait for shipment from the factory in Europe. It took about 8 weeks, but Schmetz customer service told me about this up front, and I received the needles within the timeframe they indicated.

I found Diamond Needle when I was looking for needles for my W&W 11. (128x21 is what I¡¯m running in the WW11.)

Happy sewing!
