Re: Wavetek 4032
Hi Ulrich, Looking at manual, section 12, Stabilock 4032 Lifeline, my host-mcu is at 6.10, would need 6.13 and up. I may copy all my EPROMS for safe keeping and share. There does not appear to be much

Re: Wavetek 4032
Hi Everyone, Found swapped rf connection on added FEX RF PCB. Now have 4032 with FEX running. I had the impression with FEX you also get Spectrum analyser extension. To my dissatisfaction, no, only to

Re: Looking for Feed Through Capacitor for SNA1
Hi Martin, Wavetek had a very bad run with, in particular tantalum capacitors, the moulded ones. So, I'd suspect those in orange blocks, the ones marked 16V +22.? In the 3002 0 - 520 MHz sig-gen,

Re: Looking for Feed Through Capacitor for SNA1
Hi Alan, have a look at the pics from a board adjacent to the one with the faulty cap. Both wire ends of the cap go into sockets, they are not soldered. On the left its the power distribution board,

Re: Wavetek 4032
Repair tip for these units: Swap all SMD Electrolytics as long as they have the grey-ish black polarity marking. If they have a glossy dark black marking they are already new. The grey-ish are leaking

Re: Wavetek Stabilock 4032
Hi Gerald, It is a good idea to note all cards from all machines with their numbers and revisions. The Option Card from the picture is not a problem, you can put it in any unit you like, unless the

Re: Looking for Feed Through Capacitor for SNA1
Hi Martin, BTW: What country are you in? I'm writing from Australia. The pins in the picture look unsoldered. Every other feed through I've seen has pins for soldering. Lots in my clear plastic bottle
