You win on two-strokes and four-strokes. How many bicycles have you got? :-)

My husband tried to adjust it, but like I said there isn't any description in the manual on how to do it. Overall I love the bike, most people here in the US mistake it for a Triumph. Anita Mark Campbell wrote:

I think you will find that they are all pretty much like that, if adjusted as per the manual. You quickly get used to it though, and the adjustment doesn't drift....the W always feels a bit weird, clutch wise, for a few miles after I have been riding something else... Clutch Adjustment
Anita
Any idea on how to adjust the clutch on the W650? I bought my W650
used with almost 12,000 miles and noticed there isn't much clutch. My husband looked in the Owners Manual and there was not a description on how to adjust the clutch. I figure there might be someone else out there that experienced the same thing and might be able to help. Thanks |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýAh, a revenue maker. Not applicable to out of state drivers,
though.

Radar detectors are illegal there.

Don't see anything about HDs.

Re: Yamaha RD 350 Content
As our lines aren't doing so well..its raining, DSL is coming and going, I went back out and tried to start the orange RD (I know the purple one has a bad piston), it wouldn't even sputter without the battery..put in old NS battery for contact, jumper cables to Venture..first kick, got a couple of pops..should drain the carbs and get some fresh gas in there, but I try again, 2 kicks it runs for a couple of seconds, I am on a roll..after about 6 starts, it runs, idles right along..gradually feed it throttle..it revs up, then crispy pop corn popper running.
The tranny was low on oil, there is some baffle noise, but engine mechanics sound fine so far. Previous owner heard noises from engine, these bikes were hard on clutch cages, I may have to get it warmed up to find out if that's what he heard. Once I send this, I am going out and taking the battery out of the NS and ride the RD. James Franklin 2411 Pine Summit DR. Hey Grant & all, I've done a little more investigation on those "POSH" W1 type "Full" exhausts at YouTube and find they seem to be available as slip-ons over the factory stock header pipes, which you simply cut- see here; ( and I will attempt to post a second link for the same page translated by Google, but it may not work):

The "PCM" or "CA" notes on these Japanese exhausts appear to refer to Stainless Steel. But the W1 type isn't SS, it seems. Ruari ----- Original Message -----

James-- I have a 1974 RD 250 with 350 top end waiting for completion.? Somewhere down thew line I was given the service manuals for it.? If you need any data holler or I can scan various pages and POSSIBLY manage to transmit it to you??? If you do have a need contact me offline as I have been routinely deleting all MC group correspondance and concentrating on my Lotus 7 clone group due to the high volume of mail???
