Are you sure it is not the headlamp rattle? When in. Movement and when you are listening to it, place your hand on the headlight front/ and see if it stops.?

Bike still rides like a champ but any experience with this? I am simply guessing a worn out gasket/damper or worst case, the inner pipe of the double -walled header de-tatched somehow? Ugh. Does this happen in your experience? Makes sense to me, age, vibration, heat.
Thanks! Will double check all fasteners later. Have a trusted shop down the street in easy accessible, safe route area so if it needs a weld....
