The sound is not too loud, just about right for an old timer. Wouldn't have been loud enough in my youth. I prefer the W2 sound over the W. I have not recorded the W but I do have a recording of the W2. I did have to put a stack of washers on one of the mounting bolts to get the proper spacing. It has stayed nice and tight all these years. The heat shield fell off pretty quick so I picked one up on ebay and has worked fine. Rear peg on muffler side is too short for a passenger. No jetting change.
