Re: Question regarding Progressive Suspension 412 rear shock bushing dimensions

Bob Lombardi

Have you tried contacting Progressive Suspension to ask the question ???? I gave them a call years ago about another fitment problem on a different bike and they willingly gave me the information over the phone.

I'd searched the forum for information regarding Progressive Suspension 412 shocks for the W650 but I couldn't find any mention of problems with the size of the bushings they come with.?

I was thinking I might be able to use the bushings off the stock shocks, but there's a flange on the Progressive shocks that make it look to me as though they can't be removed without destroying them, and the flange also makes it impossible to see the inner dimension of the eyes the bushings go into. I don't want to cut them off to find the stock bushing don't fit in case I need to return them for a correct size.?

I've put in a request from the shop I bought them from, which guaranteed they'd fit, but I figure I might get a quicker answer here about our particular bike's specs.?
