So, I picked up a nail and had to replace my tires. I have had Michelin Road Classics for like 500 miles. These run so smooth and quiet, even at 80mph! I feel I sit a little taller with these vs. Pirelli Sport Demon tires, which is fine. Now, I cannot attest to how hard you can corner on these since I now live with wide, flat terrain but the few curves I could find these handled fine, no issues at all. On highways with uneven pavement or rough spots, these track straight and zero wobble at higher speeds.?
Braking feels smooth but cannot attest to any wet weather performance, refuse to ride in rain.
I am hoping these go 9,000 mi and I'd be so happy if they lasted 10k mi. The FB W group said these can last quite awhile and perform admirably in tough conditions. Michelin themselves recommended rear tire pressure at 36 PSI, feels great but I am sure many will disagree and think that sounds high. Nothing feels tough or uncomfortable to me.
