I have a 2012 W800 that has done about 5kmiles, most with me over the last three months as I bought it little used with on 2k on it. It was serviced at 3k
Recently i think the fuel pump is noisier than it,s normal tick, the reason I think it is the fuel pump is, that if I push the throttle backward to the stop to cut down the revs, it disappears. loud enough to think its tappets.
Also on turning the key on, during the pre-check it can make a very loud unhealthy noises , but only sometimes.
I have 4 bikesand been riding for 40 years and am experienced enough to know it is a problem not paranoia !
I read somewhere that the was some fueling issue with this model could this be the problem do I need to do any mods or change anything to rectify or is it normal ?
Apart from this I am very happy? with the bike and is a constant surprise to me how much I enjoy it !
