Sometimes in an effort to get better breathing holes were
drilled in both left and right sides, two 1" holes each side being popular. This
was done instead of removing the snorkel from inside the airbox. Strange that
you only found them on the left, unless it was an effort to balance out the two
sides. Never heard of that one before.
