I put Dunlop K-81s on my RD 350 and CB 400 F back in 1975, those were the tire to have back then.
Dunlop makes a TT100, which, I am told, is the tire to replace the K-81.
My RD and my CB had 3.00 X 18 front, 3.50 X 18 rear as standard equipment (probably the same size as came on the 305 Hawk you have.
The CYCLEWORLD "A Step Further" article, November 1974, on hopping up the RD, said they went with Goodyear prototype tires with a 90% aspect ratio (good luck finding those) in 3.25 X 18 front, and 4.00 by 18 rear.
The popular size for the K-81s was 3.60 X 18 front, and 4.10 X 18 rear, that's what the magazine guys all recommended. I swear they didn't look any bigger than the stock tires..stuck better though. I don't know if the sizing would be the same for the TT100s.

Subject: [NHC] vintage track tire suggestions?
Date: Sat, 14 Jul 2007 12:45:39 -0400
Beth has lost no enthusiasm for vintage racing and track days. She
continues to build her Honda 305 / Yetman frame bike. We are just no
stringing alloy rims on drilled hubs.
Finding suitable tires for this bike is maddening. Since there are people
on this list who have more experience than I do perhaps you can help.
The rims are 1.85x18. The stock tires are 2.75x18.
Any suggestions for tires to fit would be appreciated. Also where to buy
them.
Thanks, J.

Just going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing
in your garage makes you a car.
