Thanks, Anita. I have since played with that adjustment (there's not
much adjustment latitude), but it seems that one can't adjust it
enought to bring on the full ignition advance much sooner than the
standard specification, which is perhaps more conservative than

Connect the throttle sensor setting adapter between the sensor wire
connectors.
start engine
operate engine at idle speed
loosen sensor mounting screws
adjust sensor mounting position to set the sensor output voltage to
standard and tighten the mounting screws.
He actually only adjusted my throttle not the sensor.
