A trip on the GUnnislake branch is worth it, as is Liskeard to Looe.? The only time I¡¯ve seen a kingfisher live properly was back in the mists of time when I managed the drivers at Liskeard ¨C all two of them ¨C and my ¡°visit¡± was at shift changeover to take a ride don the branch with the early turn man and back, and then do the same with the late turn man.? Coming out of Looe a kingfisher flew up the river beside us for about 200 yards

¡Ooops looking at our forecast, but BBC Website for Bodmin give half and half.? Only light rain for? Wednesday, and bit heavier Friday, with the rest fine

?

There are some good places to get out to down there, but unfortunately not many close to train stations¡? If you get a chance, Morwellham Quay on the Tamar is good. A restored mineral port.?

Don¡¯t eat too many oggies!
