Had such good luck with DX when I started activating around 1630 last time I decided to pick up Don early, around 0730 local, then took the 15 min drive to trail head parking. Was a cool start with the sun just peaking over the mountains. Trails all clear and in good condition. Once on top we were in sunshine and the temps were quite pleasant. No wind at all.
