¿ªÔÆÌåÓýAfter Action Cerro BrillanteCool as I headed out to trail head parking with Scott a few minutes behind on his way to Mount Taylor. Its been a while since I got this one. Parked by the two tanks (see GPX file Drive) then hiked .8 miles to the summit. (see GPX file Hike).? The first part on the hike is steep and covered with small lava rocks, but no problems switch backing up the ridge line. The last part is easy hiking up grassy meadows to the summit. ? Set up my antenna right on top at the rock pile and found a nice flat area to set up my portable chair. Roads up are SUBARU capable with dry ruts. Mostly smooth with areas of exposed rocks. Started on 28 MHz and was swamped with DX and local stations. Band conditions were very good. 73 all enjoy the pics? Geo WB5USB
