New CERT member | Ham Radio operator
Hello, My name is Ken Botts. I was at the CERT meeting last night and spoke with you about how to look up my old call sign. I went on QRZ.com, registered and found my License information (KF5GBW). I was able to renew it (expired 4/7/2020) using the renewal link on the website. As I mentioned last night, after getting my license 10 years ago, when I was with Denton county CERT, I never got a radio or used my license. I look forward to getting a radio soon an taking some classes with you and the team. I am still "in process" with FW CERT and working on the FEMA certifications and will be taking the CERT classes coming up in June. Thanks for your help, Ken Botts 562-552-4946

Technician class license
We will be scheduling a training and review class for the Technician Class license examination materials. If you are interested in attending, please join the discussion. We will need approximately 12 hours to cover the materials. I believe that four sessions of 3 hours will be most effective. Please share your preference - a weeknight - morning or afternoon on a Saturday or Sunday. The classes will probably begin soon after the CERT Basic classes end in the middle of June. Once that information is available, I will try to find a place to hold the class. 73, Dave Bernheisel, N2DPF
