I called Scott N3XCC who builds repeaters.? He built the DMR one for us.? ?He has a suitable antenna he would sell for $600.? ?It¡¯s new old stock.? ?He bought it for a project that fell through.? So never installed.? ?The retail on this antenna is over $1,000.? ?So this is a real deal for us.?
He¡¯s willing to take payments but I don¡¯t want to commit the club to this expense without consulting others.? ?What are your thoughts on this?? ?
We also need duplexers and I had previously discussed with Scott and he has a set for us.? ?He said we could borrow them for a while and purchase later if we¡¯d like.?
So what does everyone think??
