Everyone- At the January CCARC meeting it was decided that we would?hold monthly Radio Night events at the Clearfield County EMA amateur radio station in the EMA building.? As discussed, they are to be held on the 2nd Thursday of each month which would put the first one on Thursday February 13th starting at 7 PM.?? This is an opportunity for all of us to become more familiar?with the equipment at the EMA center as well as giving it a routine dusting off so we know it's ready for use if/when requested by the county.? If you have a Technician Class license, or no license at all, you too can try out the amateur radio bands under the supervision of a licensed?radio amateur.? The supervising?amateur will?need to be General Class or higher if you want to try the HF bands.? And besides, it's always fun to twist knobs on some nice radio gear! So please plan to join us... Thursday February 13th and the 2nd Thursday of each month going forward.? 7PM at the Clearfield County EMA in the Amateur Radio Room.?? Thank you and 73.
