There are also C4FM frequencies on 6 and 10 meters. capable of over the horizon digital contacts.. Only the FT-991A has that capability. Of course that requires 2 radios to make a QSO.

Update, Gaylen has had TPA treatment. So far so good. Still he will be kept for observation. He has been texting and sounds like he is doing well.

Members emails going to SPAM..
The problem with some mail services is that if a certain number of emails are sent the ISP figures it's SPAM and starts leaving it in SPAM folders, not INBOX.. This happened to Patricia Hawkins our secretary sending emails to me. All of a sudden my SPAM box has 2-3 emails of hers. I have my SPAM folder set for 7 days.. but yours may be set for immediate deletion This is why we recommend using the [email protected] when bulk emailing club members.? Yahoo's algorithm knows groups.io is a by subscription? bulk emailer. Larry W8LM ARRL Life Member- Licensed 57 years.

Note to Larry and all others concerned.
Both files uploaded will not read via the voice/over on my iphone. I will try with the computer, but based upon what Bill said was on the screen I don¡¯t believe the computer will be any better. We¡¯re these files created by simply taking a picture of the paper versions and then made into PDF format? If so then that would explain why it doesn¡¯t read. How did I get that idea? Bill noticed that the image in my phone did not match up positionally. In portrait view the words were in landscape view and when I turn the phone to landscape the words were then in portrait view.
Don¡¯t want to make more work for myself, but may I be our accessibility specialist? If we want to invite disabled vets then we might want to make our stuff accessible. I recall that the VFW site also is not accessible.Perhaps we could get involved in helping to fix that as well. Just a thought.

We could also have a "course" on GMRS - include AMRRON and maybe get some
interest in ham radio after playing a while on GMRS.
The VFW riders go on their runs and these would be great for them both on
and off the bikes.
I will bring the HT's to the next meeting for show & tell.. If anyone
wants to try them out before that, call me.
