Is this net "local" or nation wide for Legion members... As a FYI if you can join the VFW you can join the American Legion, Doesn't always work in reverse, however I've never heard of a VFW refuse a Legion member entry to a canteen. However, anyone greeting you will probably sponsor you for entry and you must sign in as a guest.
I have both VFW and American Legion credentials.
W?VFW is usually on Blind Hams Network.. but it does go local 7pm Thursday's for A local Club net, however any check im is always welcome.
At the time that that net is on Blind hams runs a net at the same time focusing on the META-GLASSES.. Rayban and others.. Quite amazing and coupled with a phone, that can actually read a menu for a blind person and also work as a body camera..
K5TAL (The American Legion) has a number of nets listed, 80 meters, D-star, West Coast, Echolink and Kentucky.. So depending on your capability, best like Church said is to go to the national web site and search for K5TAL or Amateur Radio Net.. here's where I went:
