Thursday & Friday I had an issues, I went to my witch doctor and a bone cracker... It's probably tension, it may be lack of potassium or magnesium. my cardiologist is not answering his phone. I seem to have developed spurious cramps and almost cramps.? 2 in my chest. Xrays and an EKG shows all normal- "a Cold hearted, self centered? bastard." My cardiologist is not answering once I get past "press 4 to make an appointment" and "your number 11 in line please wait".. I waited 1 hour 45 minutes, at 6pm last night the elevator music and the announcement I was "4th in line". disappeared..
Anyhow I've been prescribed a Nitroglycerin patch...So- DO NOT SHAKE ME!!! I think I'll survive the weekend.. I feel good blood pressure normal.
Regarding the repeater. In a Nutshell I got Brian W1KP's number. He is 35 years 2 way repair in Boston and was a top Vertex dealer. There has been 3-4 revisions of the Final Amplifier board. The Final Amp board we have is an early version of version 2. The Final has been refined and updated. The latest is now power MOSFETS, and metal encased to "eliminate spurious problems".? Only someone who worked on hundred of these over the years would know this.? So a new BRICK is ordered and I expect to receive it later next week.? Finally, the Vertex VXR-7000 repeater is now sold as a Motorola desktop repeater VXR-7000 for $1995 MSRP. Duplexers re-tuned and passed 75 watts continuous for over 5 minutes while being repeatedly dropped 1 inch onto my cement floor.? There is however a broken lock nut on one cavity. We will fabricate something to lock it..Hopefuly after 30+ hours it will work flawless for the next 2-3 years.
