I am re-suggesting we make arrangements to present 3-4pm after the W?VFW EXEC meeting on the 16th, a Sunday.. .
We can either make an excuse to go over and visit him at his home ... or take it to the VFW.. He has a motorized wheel chair and someone can drive his car is outfitted with a scooter carried on the rear. We will have to coordinate the location of the presentation with the Commander.
I have the "excuse" sitting on top of my Ham Radio--- a TRUMP 2024 baseball hat.. still in the plastic bag.. He likes baseball hats..
On Sundays there is a shuffleboard tournament at 3PM. So there will be a lot of activity at the post.
Either case we need a photographer... perhaps contact the EAGLE and submit the photo to the ARRL and VFW National Head Quarters...
We could get a pix of him at the controls of W?VFW with the plaque if it were at the VFW...
