The last parts of the flow meter are the PTFCC value and the orifice that needs to go in the pipe.

?

PTFCC = 63.639 liters/(min-kPa)? ? PUT THIS IN THE ARDUINO FOR CONSTANT PTFCC

?

And a washer needs to be made that is 1.029¡± outside diameter, ?0.90405¡± inner diameter, and about 0.125¡± thick.? This is easily printable on a 3D printer.? The washer then can go into the PVC pipe in a fitting before the pipe is inserted.? The pressure is taken on either side of the washer.

?

Testing without a sensor:

?

The code in the Arduino can be tested as follows.? With 2.500 Volts on the sensor pin of the Arduino (Indicating 0.00 kPa at the sensor), the flow should read 0.00 liters/min.?? With 4.500V on the sensor pin of the Arduino (indicating 2.00 kPa at the sensor), the flow should read 90.00 liters/min.? If it¡¯s a little off at the high end¡ adjust MF away from 1.0000 to make it read 90.00 liters/min.

?

Testing with a sensor:

?

Connect the sensor to the Arduino.? Connect a tube from the HIGH SIDE pressure fitting (top port) of the sensor. ?Leave the LOW SIDE open with no connection.? With empty the tube, the display should read zero liters/min.? Put 8 and 1/16th inch of water in the tube.? This corresponds to 0.29 psi or 2 kPa.? The display should read 90 liters/min.

?

The flow meter is now complete except for prototyping.
