I don't understand exactly how your pressure monitor is working.? ?Can you tell me
a)? the smallest pressure change you can measure (RESOLUTION)
b)? the maximum pressure you can measure
with that setup????
We also need a DISCONNECT ALARM.? ?If you add that, you already?meet all the safety requirements.? Disconnect is determined when the inspired pressure fails to significantly rise, despite the fact that you are delivering a breath to the patient.? It means the patient has become disconnected from the tubing.? So instead of seeing 30 cm of H2O pressure....you suddenly?see only 2 or 3 when you deliver a breath.... make sense?
