Jack caught an error in my code, I fixed that and then did some experiements that convinced me our incredibly low EXPIRATORY RESISTANCE is why I'm having such a hard time getting the assist to kick in.? ?So I added a water column to make 6 cm of cpap/peep.? ?When i did a Pause to recal the sensors, it loooks like the calibrated to room air (so mabe our system isn't water tight?)? ?and then worked perfectly --- (see end of test where the disconnect was successfully tested also!)? ?and hooray!? I can now inititate an assisted breath with only a little tug on the test ventilator to simulalate a paitent attempt at breathing!
