Your welcome Gordon, I did try the test.? If you look at my picture, you will see a large hose on the end of the irrigation valve.? I used this to comfortably breath through the valve and could not detect any resistance getting to my rubber glove (lung). ?
If you intend to use this method, note that I moved the spring from the top side of the spool to the bottom.? It does not rest on the valve body the best but my test is fully functional.? Would recommend that the 3d printer guys come up with a small support to balance the spring.
