What is the receive audio connection from the radio to the signal-link?? Is there a way to tap into it to monitor the audio?? Is the radio¡¯s speaker cut off when this connection is in use? ? Many gateways will respond multiple times after receiving a connect request.
Yes the full call sign is in the box....also, since I increased the volume of the audio, the countdown starts transmitting from 4 all the way to the end but the response is still "no signal". I am unable to check the gateway response with another radio because I have just one antenna and the gateways are too far for an HT.

When you perform the "Auto Tune", is the full call-sign of the gateway station (including the -nn extension) entered in the "Calibrate with:" field, on the VARA FM "Drive Level Calibration" screen?
