It definitely seems like the KAM+ doesn't appreciate the voltage rise on the RX line when the squelch opens when I leave squelch turned on. It only decodes if I leave squelch knob turned off. As for the PK SQL line on the radio, that is the exact behavior I'm seeing, it goes high on squelch opening and then drops low on closing, which naturally is wrong for the KAM+ which seems to need a low on squelch opening/received signal. So if I'm gonna use that I guess I need a relay of some sort to take the output of the radio to ground KAM+ XCD line.?
