If the other repeaters are on your list of VARA operators and/or Winlink then pinging them or running a VHF cal with the VARA window opened for settings might help you find a VARA FM in the list for the VARA settings (bandwidth) required.? I sometimes forget to change mine from wide to narrow.? The VARA station should have that information when you download the list for each type of operations, be it packet, VARA, WinLink, etc.

Hi all has anybody used a signal link?? I am currently trying out VARA FM but can't seem to connect.? I have a FTM-200 a Yaesu CT 164 adapter and my signal link is configured correctly.? My guess is I am maybe to far from the local Vara FM RMS which is about 50 km away from me. Although I can hit repeates that are in the same range as that.? Any thoughts? Suggestions?
