I recall watching a youtube video where a fellow making a QCTP without a
mill constructed the dovetails by making a separate plate with the
bevels and then attaching it to the body with hefty screws. He did the
same sort of thing for the tool holders.
This removes the need for a mill and dovetail cutters, and on a
micro-lathe should be plenty strong.
