Hi Herman, it's just the standard U3 toolpost, with a tiny (and very cute) 'G' clamp.
?
This photo is roughing out 'steps' in an aluminium pulley before further turning (I know, I know, as others have already mentioned I could have just used a v groove...). I could zoom in to the original, larger version and it looks like the teeth are still there, at the top cutting edge. I think I did this presuming that area is definitely hardened and best for cutting.

The arrangement is pretty 'Heath Robinson' - but it works! :)

(Moving the motor to the other side allows mounting of an indicator on that side)
