That sounds interesting. But just to get the idea - what tool post you use where you can clamp the piece of hacksaw blade in between 2 tool blanks?
Assuming that these tool blanks measure, say, 6x6mm each, that seems to require some 14mm of space for clamping in the tool post.
And is the hacksaw blade projecting then horizontally from the tool post or vertically?

I got a similar one from a UK supplier but I find the clamping a bit dodgy, the cutter tends to skew away from the body of the tool.

I¡¯ve used pieces of old hacksaw blade (cut to appropriate size and angle, teeth removed) simply clamped between two 6mm tool blanks and to the tool post. It works pretty well, and is thinner than these cutters.
