Doug has sold me quite a few parts, belts, and a manual. Good guy to deal with. Kindly answers silly questions, too!

I am very happy with belts from www.unimat-vintage-lathe.com
This fellow has a lot of other stuff on his site, too.? Especially how to pack a Unimat so it won't be damaged in shipping.

Does anyone know where I could purchase new urethane belts to fit my Unimats?
I do have urethane belt stock but I would need to build a jig to weld some new belts up. That would entail making a jig to hold the stock and slide the two ends together while it is heated.
Is there a design I could follow to build such a jig?
