Can believe there¡¯s no M12x1.0 thread chasing tap and die available¡?
maybe a European member of forums can help??
Grainger, Mactools, etc, don¡¯t seem to have an M12x1.0 thread chaser. They are different from a cutting tap/die.?
a tap or die for thread cutting could destroy the threads m trying to clean up¡
Dont know why the M12x1.0 die wouldn¡¯t run onto the Unimat tailstock ram external (drill chuck) thread. It was obviously one sided with some chamfering on one side to allow settling over thread spindle nose but grabbed too much from there to be hand turned and I didn¡¯t want to risk using a die wrench.?
