I've uploaded new versions of the FCC and HamCall callbook servers to
the UI-View32 Add-Ons folder of the ui-view-announce list files area.
They are fccsv120.exe and hcsrv120.exe.
They should both now close down more cleanly when used with UI-View32
V1.49 - previously the icons did not always immediately clear from the
SysTray.
The HamCall server also has some changes that have resulted from me
obtaining the December 2000 version of the CD. (Previously I was using
October 1995.)
1. The COUNTRYS file on the CD now starts with a comment line, and that
resulted in the country look-up failing with the previous version of the
server.
2. The server now looks for the \HAM0 directory on both CD drives and
hard drives. Previously it only looked on CD drives, so if you copied
the database to your hard drive, you had to tell the server where it
was.
3. If there is a photo on the CD relating to a callsign that you look
up, then it will be displayed. This will only work if the directory
structure for the photo files is the same as on the latest version of
the CD:-
