I have received several replies on various lists commenting how there seem to be no DETAILED online maps showing the track of the? 8 April 2024 solar eclipse.

I've been totally amazed by the same thing - lack of detailed info.? Nothing from places like NASA, National Solar Observatory, etc that you would think would have the high-powered graphics to do this. Here is the ONE dynamic map I've been able to find that can scroll in for a detailed view of the eclipse path. <> This is based on a zoomable Google map - scroll in to get the usual Google Maps detail anywhere in the US. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On 2/12/2024 12:02 PM, WA8LMF via groups.io wrote:
The next road trip and APRS AX.25-vs-VARA test opportunity will be on April 8th.?? I am driving down to north-west Ohio for the total solar eclipse.? I will be parked just off Ohio I-75 near Celina Ohio, right on the center of the line of totality.? Coords are 40.4964N / 84.1926W. |
