The real problem is anyone attempting to give away registered software is doing it illegally.
Even old out dated software is copy written

Further, the URL refers to the more-than-10-years-defunct Precision
Mapping*8.0*. Then the page proceeds to announce that "Precision Mapping 9. is
now available".
Apparently, this page hasn't been edited for more than a decade. Discussing
setup for Pmap 7 & 8 is completely pointless, since the activation support for
PM 7 & 8 were withdrawn a year or two after PMap 9 was released in late
2011.. Note that PMap 7 and 8 are completely useless, either standalone or
with UIview, without activation (which locked the program to one particular
computer,).
Activation for ANY version of Precision Mapping is now unavailable since
Undertow Software and it's website have disappeaed.
However, unlike earlier version of Precision Mapping, PMap 9 CAN STILL BE USED
with UIview WITHOUT activation.
