That link is TOTALLY USELESS! It's only the Precision Mapping*Server Plugin *(the middleware between UIview and the Precision Mapping program) -- not the Precision Mapping program itself. And it.s for the long-discontinued Precision Mapping 7.0 only - not the last and final Precision Mapping 9.0 .
The Undertow Software (puiblisher of Precision Mapping) website has disappeared from the Internet. Apparently the company itself has gone bust. This includes the "Register My App" website required to activate the Precision Mapping program.
If you can find an install DVD or ISO image, you actually don't need to register and "activate" Precision Mapping 9.0 to use it with UIview. Just run the PMap 9 install, run it once, dismiss the prompt to register, and exit the program. UIview can now access the PMap 9 data base. The only limitation is that you can't run the stand-alone Precision Mapping program.
ISO images of the PMap 9 install DVD appear from time to time on the BitTorrent file sharing network.
IMPORTANT! before installing UIview on any version of Windows later than XP, read the install notes on my web page at:
