Re: Ui-View and PA7RHM Mapserver Ver 2.0.1 installation files

Hello Graham,
That's exactly what I tried and the errors stopped, however the map server will not load any maps, it's just stuck on an old map image that will not change.
If I try and change the map, zoom in or out, the map image flashes a few times but doesn't change.
The PC is connected to the internet and can access the web OK as well as UI-View connecting to the APRS server

Regards,
Keith.

Could you not just create the folders the software is expecting?

Subject: Re: [UI-View] Ui-View and PA7RHM Mapserver Ver 2.0.1 installation files That's the software I tried installing and I get path errors and missing file errors due to the software installing in to folders that don't exist in XP.
That's why I asked if there was an older version that was specific to XP and installed correctly for that older OS.
Thanks

Hello,
The hard drive on MB7UXX iGate finally gave up after 10 years use.
I've reinstalled Windows XP and ui-view, but the mapserver that's available to download does not appear to be comparable with ui-view installed on XP, coming up with a number of paths and folders not existing.
I have a copy of the original folders from the old failed hard drive and copying the mapserver folders over stops the errors, but I can not load a new map.
Does anyone have a copy of the old PA7RHM Mapserver Ver 2.0.1 installation files that could let me have a copy of please?
Updating the PC to a newer version of windows isn't an option, hence being stuck in the dark ages, but the PC works, I've a few new IDE drives that can be used, it's just the old PA7RHM Mapserver Ver 2.0.1 installation files I am desperately in need of to get MB7UXX back on air.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
