No, both screens you see came from the same computer. The rest of the
desktop on that computer displays fine even as UI-View is displaying dark.

I should have sent this with my original problem report. On the left is UI-View and on the right is Precision Mapping. As you can see it's almost like the map has decided to get shaded black, which makes readability terrible.
