Re: Aprs server list ??

Set the filter in:

Setup > APRS Server Setup

There is a field in the bottom left corner labeler Extra long-on text

Good luck

Lloyd, I beaconed, still no response. I looked for a text box that would enable me to enter the proper filter data, but I couldn¡¯t find it. So I am assuming that there was no entry in the filter text box. Am I missing anything else? Thanks,

Ensure that you have set the FILTER command properly and remember you must
beacon at least once to set it as active

I purchased the UI-View program many years ago, and it has always worked
to identify stations trafficked through the Internet. I haven¡¯t used the
program for several years, so I decided to try and see if it would work
with Windows 10. I downloaded the new server list and attempted to connect
to two of the servers, in this case, the one located in North America and
another one located in Nuremburg, Germany. In each case, the program said I
was connected to the server, but no stations except my own appeared on the
UI-View map screen. So I figured I must have missed something, somewhere.
Registration # appears to be correct, but I cannot figure out what else I
am missing and/or need to add that would correct the problem.
Thanks, in advance, for any helpful advice!

For North American users, PMap 9 (Precision Mapping 9.0) along with
PMapServer 9 can provide street level mapping for all of North America...
They can be installed without hassle on Windows 7 & 8. PMapServer is
available for download on the UI-View website. However, Undertow Software
is no longer selling new copies of PMap 9, but existing owners can continue
to use it as long as they can get it registered.

Users of anything newer than Windows XP should not install UI-View below

built-in context sensitive help file, download and install WinHlp32.exe.
