Ok roger
here is a wish list :)

it occurred to me while driving over to Rhyl today that when I crossed the welsh boarder (no one checked my passport and I had it ready) that I pulled over to the side of the road in a safe and convenient manner to enter the new callsign of GW7PAF.
could you write it into the next update that when I cross over to GW land or GM land that the program senses the change in lat/long and alters my call sign accordingly....!!!!

if you do roger then we should here from you around the year 2010 along with the up-date to do it hi hi
but seriously those who are running mobile trackers or wot ever dont forget to change your call if you stray over the border.
easy way to tell is look for the signs on the side of the road saying WELCOME TO WALES/SCOTLAND/ENGLAND
a quick look at my map tells me a couple of welsh stations have sneaked across the border and not changed there call signs.

I aint one to spout the regs at people but I thought I would bring it to light
it caught me unawares a few weeks ago when I was over in welshpool driving round like lord of the manor with my callsign at g7paf and then not realising until I was way home that I should have been GW7PAF

ho hum
on another note to anyone with a laptop and if it has usb ports on it the maplins usb to serial converter works a treat
so you can run the tnc and the GPS at the same time

I have no got my kpc3 my gpsII and the Aisin $20 GPS all hooked up and running (more like thrown together).
the only faffing about is that I have to remove the IR. port from the device manger so the entrega usb converter chooses a com port lower than 5 and not reboot the machine if I do then the IR. port is detected and installed and the entrega com port goes to ether 5 or 6

can anyone shed some light on how I can stop the Infa-Red port being detected and installed.
if I disable it the comport still goes to 5 or 6 it has to be removed ?????
