I have a two part question regarding Jump Off Points and their placement.
There is a dispute between two players and I am the umpire of the campaign -

Re: Lists for 1st Afghan War
Thanks Graham, I did wonder about the Sikh Wars, but I confess, part of the appeal was the ready availability of the Perry plastic Afghans.
I am now wondering if I consign them to the lead pile and

Re: Lists for 1st Afghan War
Iron Duke has East India Company Irregular Cavalry which you could use to represent Skinners horse (Yellow coats, red pants and red or blue turbans) GAPS 7 and 8. Also looking at the orders of battle

Meanwhile, Doug's original question was, "Has anybody done any SP2" lists?
Surely someone can support our bad buying-decisions!

Neil, Can you tell me more what you have in mind with the British Irregular Cavalry. Whose figures? What might they represent? Thanks. Always open to ideas.

Re: Lists for 1st Afghan War
I know, I've looked at the Empress/Iron Duke range and been ashamed of the lust...
Hmmm.. of course, if I was a REAL wargamer, I would collect both.
And just to deflect, painting some Perry plastic

Take heart, Doug! Flashman was involved in the Mutiny, too! And Empress/Iron Duke have a lovely and comprehensive range of figures!

Re: Lists for 1st Afghan War
Thanks Peter, I only bought a few as I wanted to do Sharp Practice, but that's very helpful. It's interesting to see the relatively high number of NCOs.

Accidents do happen - however careful one tries to be.
I look forward to learning more of this project at the Virtual Wargame Club. Did you buy the Gandamak figures?
