In the rules as originally written you would have to leave 2 men from the squad in the vehicle, one to act as driver the other to man the MG. It would become an Uncommanded Vehicle and only one

I like Flying Circus the SPI game.
We played it at Stoke Wargames Group in the early 70¡¯s.
I painted a Jasta 26 Albatross (Airfix)
Cut out a 8¡± across flats (AF) hexagon from 3mm hardboard, a 3ft.

I know some players using "dotted maps"? ie. only the center of the hex is shown with a white or yellow dot.? They made it themselves.
It's inconspicuous. But it may be harder to see the sides
