Re: What are you doing during lockdown ?

Do miss my weekly club gatherings, the gym, and my friends. Thankfully I just got Ginny and Amina in before all this broke loose. Alas, the terrace fences aren't ready yet so they can't go out.

Painting, My right hand has developed a permanent brush -hold stance. How lucky those ambidextrous people are.

Priming,? My Lead Mountain is now partially a light grey mountain. All stashed away in RUB boxes with magnetic foil. My neighbors are sure I have a chemical plant at my place.

Cleaning figures. I've gone through about 100 #11, #10a, #15 and #15c blades so far. My Dremel is hiding in a corner whimpering.

Ordering new figures. Less said about that the better. Feind h?rt mit! Mind you,? some manufacturers and distributors already have gaps! Hurry if you still want your fix.

Washing my hands so often I no longer need sandpaper to polish the figures. I just rub them against what is left of my skin.

Dreaming of new armies. Medication against that affliction is no longer available. Richard isn't helping very much with his Infamy, Infamy videos.

Stay safe!

Hi All,
Need to finish some Eureka US & Germans. Also looking at getting British as I want to do some IABSM - COC games in that ignored corner of the world Tunisia. I like the Eureka 20mm's, sold in full squad by nationality packs and with proper mix of weapons. Great job! If I decide to do some Sicily - Italy games later will add fallschirmjager.

Setting up a scenario for Sam Mustafa's "Rommel" to play with a friend later this week. We have a safe way to do it without going electronic.

Other than that I just check to see if I'm still alive from time to time.

Stay cheerful and entertained.

On a personal level, I've been painting a lot of things from my lead/resin/[plastic mountain and prepping up things so I can paint whatever takes my fancy. A few of us from my club are playing an email-based strategic game based on a fantasy continent, and some more of us are also playing a Call of Cthulhu game via Google hangouts, although we are going to switch to Zoom for the next round. I have also roped my non-gaming partner into a couple of games, one of WaT and another of CoC.
