Very true, but if you can find one, you may also want to use a patch cord with a transformer, to help match the Speaker level impedance to the Microphone level impedance, to break any possible ground

Since the TT4 RED LED is on for a very short time, it doesn't appear the TT4 is trying to TX.? It could be RF getting into the audio wiring.A couple of things to try: 1. Move the TT4 away from the HT
