Re: Tiny Trak Display not working
The part you are looking for is a small trimmer pot. You will find it just above the "TT4" on the display adapter board. I believe it is yellow, and it is oriented vertically, so it is adjusted from

Are you looking for a POT on the TT4 or Display? The contrast POT is on the display interface - opposite side from the keyboard connector. Also, did you set NODISP FALSE (inverse logic meaning there

Re: Tera Term
Hi Rob, You gave me the solution by telling me to disconnect the DB9 connector from the TT4 instead of the USB connector from the computer. Thank you very much. 73, John KN4BLF

John, Don't panic. If you can't make it work, either Byon or I will be happy to take a look at it, unless we can find a person with a black-belt in configuration nearer to you willing to help out.?

Hi Dan, I got gibberish on my first attempt but in the dozen or since I got nothing. The Tiny Trak manual is specific about using 19200 for a baud rate. I went to Device Manager and set that COM port

If this unit was received only a few weeks ago, either port will have access to the bootloader. Bother ports start at 19200,n,8,a and the TT4 sends the same "?" and "Press ESC 3 times to enter TT4

Whenever I see gibberish on a serial port I always think I am somehow using the wrong baud rate. Try different baud rates and see if you get what is expected. --Dan Meyer / n0kfb
